Bail Procedure in SC/ST Atrocities case in telangana
03-Mar-2023 (In Criminal Law)
Hi,
My parents have been wrongly accused in an sc/st atrocities case. They got arrested on 7th of February 2019. We went ahead and applied for a bail and it got rejected on 21st of February 2019 as lawyer didn't furnish proper documents. I changed my lawyer and reapplied for bail again. The court had set 1st of march 2019 as the date for bail hearing. Now my lawyer says the bail is granted and the court has set another date(i.e 5th march 2019) for issuing orders. Is it true that the court sets a different date only to issue orders? He says the purpose of next hearing is FOR ORDERS. I just needed a second opinion on this. Thank You.
hi
orders will be pronounced on 5th March. so legally the bail has not been granted yet by court. it is likely that only arguments were completed.
you need to wait for orders on 5th March to know whether bail is granted or not.
