Bail - FIR (420, 120B) - Judicial Custody - Investigation Pending

19-Jul-2023 (In Criminal Law)
FIR against - 2 agents and directors of a company (company involved in collecting public deposits in lieu of attractive returns). One of the directors designated as additional director got arrested. After police custody, he is sent to judicial custody by district and sessions court. Police is still investigating the case. Should bail application be filed at this stage? will it succeed? In this case when should a bail application be filed?

You should file for bail as the offenses are bailable offence. You shall succeed in getting bail provided you dont violate the conditions of bail. Bail is a matter of right and cannot be denied unless reasonable grounds are established.
