Are there any strong chances of SC approving a transfer petition u/s 376, 377, 417 and 420, from Kolkata (accused's place) to Delhi (complainant's place)? If yes, ONLY then I'll apply. It is a rape case under false promise of marriage. Grounds - merit (last sexual offence happened in Delhi), my senior citizen parents, my job in Delhi, my security and convenience. Accused will have an upper hand in Kolkata, which I don't want.

see your case has a strong ground is very Candid and clear that nearly the convenience of the wife can't be the ground for the transfer of the petition with the new provision of video conferencing Supreme Court is interesting the party may not travel physically and can join the conference you conferencing the supreme court in many cases also ask the husband to wife to travel and attending case in adition to this there are some tricks of the trade with two can be employed to makes your that definition is dismissed in Supreme Court thank you
