Appearence in MM court After FIR Quashing In HC

18-Aug-2023 (In Criminal Law)
Recently i got my FIR quashed by the Delhi HC in march. After that lockdown took place. Now as per lower court website case is still active and next date of hearing is 27 aug 2020. Do i need to appear in the coming hearing in MM court as my case is already quashed by the HC in march and since then dates are getting posted in lower court due to lockdown. Does lower court require presence or high court would have reached the court automatically. Will it get closed automatically in the lower court?

I have perused the contents of your query and would advise you to seek a detailed consultancy from a lawyer having expertise. Yes, you have to appear before the Honourble Court and apprise the court about High Courts proceedings

well, I would suggest you to appear by yourself or through an advocate and show the court the order of the Honble high court as to effect of the quashing of the F.I.R filed against you. this will make the court close the case prima faciely.

Usually high court directs the registry to send their order to the lower court. However, since courts are not functioning properly due to lockdown , I cant say anything. Moreover District courts have started functioning through video conferencing , so if you want you can attend the court on 27 August through video conferencing.
