Anticipatory bail is very essential if the police hasn't arrested the accused yet. Until and unless u have not got the anticipatory order or interim protection order, you have to remain absconded/ hidden.Well coming to your question, filing of for anticipatory bail has two stages. At the first stage, you will get an interim protection order which is valid till the final disposal of the anticipatory application. At the second stage, immediately after the Court receives CD from the police, you will get the bail order whose validity will be till the end of the GR case.

The bail order is valid till FF report is filed in the Trial court by the Police.When the trial starts you will recieve a summon to appear there.Again you have to file a bail application and bailor to remain on regular bail and the trial will continue.
