Dear Client,

As per your query, pendency of a Criminal Case is a bar for getting a Govt. Job, is to be answered on the basis of the particular eligibility criteria of that job. Normally, in such cases, the persons, against whom charges stand framed, are not considered by the Employer for consideration for the job.

Thou the same has to be taken with a liberal view by the employer as only the charges were framed but the same has not yet been proved.

You definitely have to disclose all particulars in the application. Also please provide the stage of proceedings in the Criminal Matter. Try to get the said proceedings quashed.

Regards,
Tushar Bahadur,
(Advocate).

Hi,
There will be no effect on your selection till the decision of the case. The registration of the case is one aspect folloed by the investigation and subsequent arrest in the case. If things go well and IO clears it the then you may enjoy.
