Action against agent if documents submitted for passport were false

In 2012, we hired an agent to get passport. At that time i was in 8th standard. We dont have any document at that time of me for passport requirement that is why we hire an agent to ask him what we should do. But he assure us that passport can be made easily without any document. We went to pia and our agent submitted our documents by himself. We received passport after a month and notice that the dob in passport is wrong. In passport it is 11/06/199x but in real and now on all documents it is 11/06/199y. We approach to him and he told us to that this dob process cant be done right now. It will be done after 6 months according to law. 6 months passed so we call him and he told us that the documents which were used for passport issue are false. If we approach pia to change dob imprisonment can be done to us as me and my father have signed the documents. What should we do now?
