abused and intimidated on phone from another state

Hi , Cousin of my son-in-law made a phone call to my son using abusive language and threatened with murder.My son vexed and used the same abusive language which is recored.can my son file a case at police station in this regard ?nnThanks in advance

okay I understand your questions so now your son inlaw abusive language scolded to your son like murder right yes you have a chance to file a FIR againest him so do you need any legal help contact me thank you
