Work Profile significantly different what was discussed interview

I had to leave a job at listed company due to work profile significantly different from what was discussed during the time of interview. No job description was provided by the company during the time of interview. Matter raised with CFO & MD but to no avail. Recently engaged independent directors in the matter. Please advice if any legal action can be taken.
No person can be compelled to do work against his will. If u were told regarding other job and they are takong work from u on other field than give them a legal notice by disclosing these facts ant to leave job and to claim your due salary. If they dont release you byngiving your due salary than u can lodge FIR and can file suit against them.
