What to do if i have an issue with a co employee at wrok

Hello Experts, If we referred any candidate in the company then company gives us reward monitory benefits once candidate is joined the company BUT if candidate ask to share the reward money and I also accepted on whatsapp and also candidate recorded my conversation without my consent in which I accepted to share the reward money and I don't want to share it so, how can we avoid this kind of situation without disturbing my current job. I am looking for your expert advice. Thanks.

It's very sensitive situation, u can challenge once the complainant is filed against you, if you are consious better to share it, and avoid the situation or on other way you can negotiate and settlement it.

From what is mentioned here there is no contractual obligation between the Candidate and you. As no contractual obligation exists the Candidate's attempt to recover such money would not be successful.
However, to ascertain if any ramifications can arise in your current job examine the employee handbook and ascertain if there are any particular penalties that would be attracted. In the event, no such penalty exists it is unlikely that there would be any issues with the employers.
