Dear Sir

The company ordinarily cannot force you to pay the bond amount. However, you can be advised better if you share the service agreement. Also, has the company given you any specific training with respect to your job profile?

Thanks

First of all you have to reply for the notice which company have sent you and if it has not been in the form of notice then kindly serve them legal notice regarding the problems which was sustaining during training as well as your inconvenience due to fraud play by the company but doing before that kindly consult an advocate to file a complaint in labour Court remember one thing your first statement should not suffer from any infirmity meaning there by you should mention all facts as well as allegations in your notice

The answer to your query primarily lies in the contract that you have signed. Therefore, a thorough review of the same would be required to comment on the merits of your issue.

Having said that, In case you are put in a project which has no proximity with your training, it could be argued that I such a case you are not liable to make the payment. However, it would again be subject to a reading of your contract.

its very common for the companies to make you sign these kind of service agreements which binds you and the company. But you need to provide all the relevant and necessary details of that agreement to proceed further.
