Received Promotion Letter But The Salary Not Received

I am working in ltd company in which I received a promotion letter with grade and salary increment which is applicable from 1 Oct'17 on 16 Jan'17 but i resigned on 19 Jan'17 also complete the notice period but the employer refuse to pay my 5 month salary difference amount.Even i received the Full and Final amount from the employer.

As per your promotion letter, you salaray increment is effective on 1st Oct, 2017. As you have resigned on 19th Jan, 2017, you are not entitled to the salary difference. You are only entitled to any pending salary till 19th jan, 2017 and the salary during notice period.
