Hi ,
I am delhi based wedding photographer . In the month of Jan and Feb , 2020 , we have not received payout from the client . We have given several reminders to them but everytime they have been asking for time and this has continued now three months . It is B2B Client and company name is Weddingz.in and it is a subsidiary of OYO . Please suggest me what measures should i take .
hello client as i have read ur query its seems to be very much problanatic condition . the things which u have mentioned in ut issue is serious criminal offence under IPC 1860 in this matter you need to take urgent action on the basis of of ur timmings of the crime seens to be of jan and feb and now its may is going to start you need to immidiately take legal action otherwise it may cross the limitation of filling the case in court. you sholud not worry if u have taken a legal action you will get ur money only if you have good advocate and as ur advocate.

You can send them a legal notice. Even then if they don’t make the payment you can file a civil suit for the recovery of amount. If there is any contract then the terms of that contract need to be checked what it says about the time of payment and consequences in case there is default in payment. It may amount to breach of contract provided there is any term for that.
