Need advice on corporate laws

06-Dec-2023 (In Corporate Law)
I have resigned in one company(software) due to mental stress and talked with HR about it and getting the Notice period less but they have not agreed and given reason that I was working on project which is billable and have to serve the full notice period(2 months) but I left the company and not receiving the call or anything but they mailed me today that Unauthorized absence from work and not serving the notice as per the notice period policy is a violation ,I feel like they will file a case against me on this ,so want advice on it, Thanks

Well, before filing a case against you, they will send a legal notice to you asking to pay compensation in lieu of not serving notice period. When you will either not give a befitting legal reply to them for saving yourself from paying or not pay them the compensation amount in lieu of not serving notice period, then, your Ex-Employer may file a case against you.
