To obtain a street vendor license (Certificate of Vending) in Mumbai, you need to apply through your local BMC Citizen Facilitation Centre. The process is governed by the Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Act, 2014. You’ll need the following documents: Identity proof (Aadhaar or similar) Proof of vending before May 1, 2014 (old fines, photos, receipts, etc.) Self-undertaking declaring vending as your sole livelihood Bank account details Applications are accepted at BMC ward offices, though surveys by the Town Vending Committee (TVC) are mandatory before issuing the license. If you're found eligible, you'll receive a Certificate of Vending and an ID card, which legalize your business in designated vending zones.

In Maharashtra, street vending licensing is governed by the Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Act, 2014. The Act aims to protect the rights of street vendors and regulate vending activities. To apply for a license, vendors typically need to provide proof of their vending activity, identity proof, and a self-undertaking, along with other documents. The process may also include a survey by the Town Vending Committee (TVC) to assess eligibility and existing vending zones. I can assist you and your Father to get this Street Vending Licence.
