The response to this question can only be given after your partnership deed. Generally for acts done by partnership while you were a partner, you will be liable. However, if you have an agreement to contrary then this will not apply.

You should write a formal email to the other partners of the organization and the organization itself that you do not wish to continue with the organization as a partner or otherwise and hence would like to resign from the same. Further in that email you should mention that the organization shall initiate your separation process as per the partnership agreement which is there in between you and the organization. That would be all from your side. Rest of the compliance has to be done by the organization and remaining partners.

It difficult to answer unless I am aware of all the facts and what apprehensions you actually hold. You may very well resign from the partnership but your liabilities during your tenure will still hold unless agreed to the contrary between the partners. I would suggest that the exit must be amicable and with consent of all others.
