Company denying issuance of relieving letter before 6 months
16-Nov-2023 (In Corporate Law)
hi ,i had taken a leave of 2 days about which i had informed to my manager,it was escalated as absconding, company denying too give relieving letter,my manager said he will be putting a word across to HR in getting relieving letter, any chance of me getting relieving letter,HR told i will be getting experience letter after 6 months, this gap hurts my career, how should i proceed
Do you have any roof to show that you are only on 2 days leave with the permission of the company. If you have any mail or message than it may be helpful for you in future if matter goes to the court. They don't have to take 6 months to issue relieving letter, hence we can issue legal notice
Firstly, you can send a notice to the company HR and CEO or any other person in equivalent post and your manager to issue the relieving letter to you. Send the letter by RPAD and retain a copy of the letter. After service if they don't reply within 15 days you can file a complaint with the labor officer for the same.
