Action against the company holding job after giving placement letter..

I got a placement in some renowned mnc, they had given me a offer letter but after giving me offer letter... They are saying you have to appeare for the some test and after that you will get a job.. I want to know you sir how they can do like that..They had an right regarding that ..and may I file a complaint against them.

It is just an offer letter and not appointment letter. And I believe the offer letter will be a conditional as to clearing of test. They have all the right to conduct a test in order to get a suitable candidate as per their norms and standard for the position. So if you want to join the company you have to clear test. It seems you are starting your career so don’t look for getting into taking actions unless it is of severe nature as this may affect the possibility of getting employment in other companies as well. Dear Client,

In any transaction, there is a offer and acceptance. Further Employer is free to decide his rules and regulations, just that they should not be illegal. In you case, Employer is at upper hand and can dictate the rules.

Further a better and correct advice can be given only after referring your documents. If something illegal is found, legal notice can be issued to the employer for necessary compliance's.
