Dear Client,
To be more precise and to summarize w.r.t. copyright - Kindly note all the disputes and issues are decided on the basis of terms and conditions of engagement. Also the Non Disclosure Agreement between the parties play major role. The question asked by you is more of a academic one and no proper precedence/citation can be referred at this stage.

Only after going through the documents, proper advice can be given.

Content is very much important rather than the status or the professional background of the person. There are many examples which includes likes of Chetan Bhagat, Shiv Khera so on and so forth. Any form of plagiarism will lead to Copyright infringement.
