Supplier is not giving correct material and delayed too much.

Hello sir,
I am Pune based and have trading activities. For one of the Order; we have placed component order to one of the Pune based manufacturer. Manufacturer has to supply that component with complete testing at his end before dIspatch. He supplied defected component. When we returned it for test it at his end. He accepted there are some issues from his side so defect are there. Now he is taking too much time for rectifying it.
We want to cancel the order. We have paid him all basic amount. Only GST payment is balance from our side.
Kindly advise.
in this case, you will first have to see if termination is a clause in your agreement and what are the consequences of below par quality of goods.
if he has accepted his mistake in writing, then well and good. if not, you will first have to send him a legal notice and then apply to consumer court for faulty goods or to civil court for breach of contracts

if you have signed contract regarding that then you can sent them notice for breach of contract and you can get compensation from that company .
if not then also you are having any documentory evidence that will be fine to file case in consumer court

Ok, so you can cancel the Order & if he do not return your money back, file a case against him in court of law. Make sure that you need to have all evidences against him to get him prosecuted under the law.
