A consumer complaint is pending before the District Consumer Commission. After filing, several material subsequent events occurred requiring amendment of the complaint. My amendment application was returned by the Registry stating it is "not in correct form of amendment petition." Can the amendment application also seek permission to change appearance from Party-in-Person to an Authorized Representative, or should that be filed separately?
