Legal actions against amazon for not delivering the product on time

I ordered a product from Amazon.in and waited for 7 days to get it delivered. The day before it was estimated to be delivered, I got a message saying I refused the delivery that's why it won't be delivered. On the previous order when I canceled an order they called me to confirm whether I really canceled or the courier canceled product itself. But this time, no call no message. I needed that product urgently, but they just crossed my patient. I want to know can some legal action be taken in this case?
You can take legal action against amazon under consumer protection act for deficiency of service and claim amount for mental agony and also for not delivering the product on time which has ordered it a fit case for Consumer court

Yes you can file consumer case under deficiency in service. before that you make complaint to the customer care of the amazon through mail about this. And intimate them that you will take legal action if they won't entertain your compliant seriously.
