Institution charging fees for degree collection and certificates

My University is asking money for granting my bachelor's degree they are issuing us some forms for awarding degree which is of Rs.800. Same they're doing for Migration Certificates etc for which they are asking Rs.500.This isn't lawful,Right ?
Please file a right to information application in your university for your related quarry, and wail for answers. If your university is private and you paid all fees about your course. Then you file a petitions in consumer forum

Simply you can judge it ..If they are giving you the receipt against these payments with authenticity of invoice details then there may be charge applicable unless they don't have right to claim any type of payment

Universities in India has its rules regarding the cost of issuing the degree same is with your university I think you must not be hesitating in giving the cost if they are charging more make complaint
