I have been Cheated by Travel company

Dear Sir, I'hd purchased a holiday package from Travel Company by paying approx Rs 70k in 2015. Till date they haven't given any service which they agreed. They are not lifting calls also.

You can file a consumer complaint seeking refund of the money paid by you along with damages under the Consumer Protection Act. Off late i had filed a consumer complaint against a travel company and recovered the entire amount paid.

This is a classic case of deficiency in service under the consumer protection Act. A legal notice is required to be sent to the travel company for refund along with interest. If they fail then complaint can be filed in the District consumer forum

Send a letter by registered post or email giving details of package booked by you, your follow up so far and about no response and ask for getting tour as per package. If package seller doesn't do needful, approach consumer forum. Please note that complaint is required to be filed within 2 years.
