How to reopen a consumer case which is disposed off
20-Mar-2023 (In Consumer Court Law)
I filed a consumer case with a help of an advocate against a photographer for not delivering marriage photos. During the case, I didn't get much information about case status and proceedings from my lawyer. At one point due to miscommunication problem with my advocate, he stopped sending me the updates and left from the case. After 3 months now I came to know the case status as "disposed off" dismissed for default as complainant not appeared for hearing. During these 3 months I didn't get any communication for hearing. I don't know what to do now. can I reopen the case ? if possible how can I do it.
it has to be reopened under CPC procedure. if the case has been closed for default of non appear of complaintant then it could be reopened by an order of High court of Madras. for those the original papers are needed
