Compensation for loosing original sale deed against finance company

I filed suite against finance company for loosing my original sale deed and not providing housing loan asking for compensation. The case is in the stage opponent party 1 has been given exparte however opponent party has been asked to submit witnesses.but not submitted. Now what may be in the case.
Case will proceed as per procedure prescribed. The learned court has to provide ample opportunity to file evidence to the opposite party if he failed to lead evidence The learned court will sou moto close his evidence and proceeded the case further.
