Writ petition not being heard in the Andhra Pradesh High Court

08-Sep-2023 (In Civil Law)
I had filed a writ petition in the hon Andhra Pradesh High Court in 2011 against an order passed by the Endowment Tribunal Commission to seek relief. My lawyer in Hyderabad keeps telling me that no fresh cases are heard by the sitting judge. How long can it continue this way? Been almost 5 years and my writ petition hasn't been heard. What is the best way to ensure that the writ is heard? Any advice would be appreciated

It's does not take so long to hear any Writ Petition. You need to check with the filing section through the diary number being provided to you at the time of filing. You need to check the delay and get it listed before the Hon'ble Court. Usually the procedure is that once the case is filled the first date comes withing a week or 10 days after clearing all the objections
