Writ filing in Jalpaiguri bench of Kolkata HC

1. A false FIR was filed in was filed in a matrimonial dispute. The FIR has since been closed and approved by the Siliguri court in April 2025 . whenever we search the name of first accused on Google this FIR is still showing in public domain and tagged with social media accounts. A closed FIR in public domain is clear violation of right to privacy as it contains personal and sensitive information of all the members of the family includin two females. Please suggest legal remedies

I will help you to remove the name of the accused person from Google search engine including the website where it's appearing. To remove this issue legal notice to the website owner and domain name registrar. If they agree then good. If they do not agree then writ petition in Calcutta High court Jalpaiguri bench. I practice in Calcutta High court and can appear online in Jalpaiguri bench as well. Thank you. Take care.

dear client as per your since false FIR was lodged was it quashed or disposed say in details if the FIR was quashed still its showing online then you need to visit court and ask to update it..as its not updated

Brief me the the fact that when your FIR has been close by the learned Court. when your FIR has been lodged against you and your family. weather you and family members those name is in that FIR get any notice from the police station or get Bail from the court. whether the matter has been settled between both the parties or not?
