09-Oct-2023 (In Civil Law)
A student was admitted in a private medical college in karnataka by the cut of date 30.09.2016,The apex court extended the date to 07.10.2016 and got admitted on dtd.07.10.2016 under all India quota in Maharastra on the condition that original documents need to be submitted on dtd.10.10.2016 failing which admission will be cancelled. The private college is not returning the certificates and fees stating that the cut off date is over for them on dtd.30.09.2016 and demanding full course fee in return of original documents. plz advise.

Check the terms and conditions signed by you during admission in the college and on that basis you may thru advocate issue a legal notice and thereafter if they fail to return the documents file complaint with eduacation ministry and court. But first check the terms and conditions before taking any action.
