Whether the advocate can be examined in court as a witness

17-Jun-2023 (In Civil Law)
Advocate sent a legal notice on 25.4.2012 on behalf of defendant... during the cross examination of defendant they refused the legal notice send by the advocate dated 25.4.2012 and told that i have not ask that advocate to send that legal notice to the plaintiff. now i file reopen petition to cross examine that advocate about the legal notice dated 25.4.2012. now my question is whether the advocate can be examined regarding that legal notice dated 25.4.2012 as witness?

No as such advocate cannot be cross examined regarding legal notice. But if you have any other evidence or proof which proves that legal notice was sent then that can be produced in court. your advocate might has postal receipt by which he must have posted notice you can produce the same.
