What to do if there is a issue with land distribution

Hello Sir ,my mother having a 2.5 acres of land in a village and my mother brother recently came and beat my mother and tell give me the 2.5 acres of land otherwise i will kill you your husband and your son too.But he was a good name in society so police and others are not responding to this issue.How i can protect my family from him, he said if you file a police complaint i am beating your family again ,What to do now sir Please help me Sir,Thank You Sir.
if the property on your mother name you can file a case in court, first you must give complainant in police station if they will not respond you must approach higher officials @ ASP, OR DCP .IF even though it is not solved you must approach court.

how your mother got the property your are not mentioned in your query. what ever it may be if she have absolute rights and all the necessary documents then you can file a criminal case against your uncle.
