The division of property without stamp paper but with the signatures of all the parties as well as at least two witnesses, is a valid document. You are free to take possession of the property or to sell the property. If anyone objects, you can take help of the local police in this regard

The Partition is legal. But, the question is as to whether the said partition was given effect to as was written on the paper. Whether mutation was done as per said paper of Partition. If you have ample proofs of earlier Partition, you can very well resist the claim of Partition of your other co-sharers. You can alternatively also file a Title Suit for declaration that earlier Partition was valid one and accordingly declaration of Exclusive Title on the allotted portion of the property.
