In the given situation, the adoptee families are required to present a guardianship certificate to claim the said benefits of the insurance policy. The affidavit was presented by the wife, now regarding the adoptee families, they will have to present a new affidavit regarding the same, and the affidavit presented by the wife of the deceased will still be valid.
