What is the applicability of the Rain Water Harvesting Rule enacted?

Please kindly advise me on the RWH rule enacted by Government of Karnataka. We own a property measuring 30 * 40 in Bangalore. We are living on this property for the past 18 years. It falls in the BBMP limits. Kindly clarify as to whether this rule is applicable for us or only for the new constructions in 30 * 40. Keenly waiting for your reply

As per the said rule, the compulsory Rain water harvesting facility is not applicable to the measurement of your site which is 30 x 40. If you are freshly constructing a house, i would suggest to find some means to implement it and avoid future repercussions or amendments if any.

Hello , Yes the ruling with respect to rain water harvesting is made compulsory only for new construction if the said provision is made only then bbmp will sanction building plan and water connection s given by bwssb.
