File Second Appeal or Complaint to the West Bengal State Information Commission (WB SIC) If there’s no response even after the First Appeal, you can escalate the matter: Contact Details: West Bengal State Information Commission Bhabani Bhaban, Ground Floor, You can send a Second Appeal or file a Complaint under Section 18 of the RTI Act, citing inaction and delay.

You must file a 2nd Appeal before the chief information commission and if you've crossed the statutory limitation period, you will have to file an application for condonation of delay along with your 2nd appeal in order for it to be maintainable. Good luck!

since you have not received any reply in RTI and also no reply has been given to you for appeal, you can file a complaint with the CIC. Demand fine on concerned officials who did not respond to your RTI and appeal

you may file a writ petition before the hon'ble Calcutta High court. the RTI authority being a public authority is considered state and therefore in case of their inaction, writ petition can be filed before the high court for issuance of appropriate writ

Since you haven't received a response to your RTI application and first appeal for over 5 months, here are the steps you can take: **File a Second Appeal:** - You can file a second appeal to the West Bengal Information Commission - The appeal must be filed within 90 days of the date when the first appeal decision was due - Include copies of your original RTI application, first appeal, and all relevant documentation **Additional Actions:** - Write to the Chief Information Commissioner of West Bengal highlighting the delay - Consider filing a complaint under Section 18 of the RTI Act alongside your second appeal - Keep records of all communication and reference numbers Remember, as per the RTI Act, you should have received a response within 30 days of filing the original application, and your first appeal should have been addressed within 30-45 days.
