Want to buy lottery ticket from West Bengal in Kerela

if i buy kerala state lottery from westbengal and get ticket by post -is it a legal purchase?can i claim through a nationalized bank branch of westbengal if win a big amount?

You are not prevented to buy lottery ticket from anywhere in India unless it is banned by the Government, so buying and getting the same over post is dependent to the State Government Laws. Now if you win you have to claim the amount but always remember whoever holds the ticket is considered the winner, so you could claim the amount with your representation before the lottery authority, which would be paid to the holder of the ticket after deducting the Government charges.

Before purchasing the lottery ticket you have to go through the terms and conditions of the lottery. There are some cases where one who wins the lottery have to be the local resident of the state.
If you win the lottery of a hefty amount you have to produce the lottery to the concerned department as the rules lays down in the lottery board.

Yes it is a legal purchase because apart from West Bengal and Kerala there are few other state where lottery ticket selling is legal else where it is totally banned.Yes you Can win and want to claim It then you have to come In person with valid documents Of permanent residence and PAN card and proper Bank details.There Is nothing like only for people residing in Kerala.
