Validity of Rent Agreement on Rs. 100/- Stamp Paper

Sir, is Leave and License (Rent Agreement) on a Rs. 100/- Stamp Paper and Notarized and not Registered a Legal Document and can be accepted by a Co-operative Housing Society as a legally valid Rent Agreement
No, any Leave & License Contract needs to be registered as per Sec 17 of the Registration Act, 1908 & as per Sec 55 of the Maharashtra Rent Control Act too, it is mandatory to register Leave & License or any Lease Contract/Deed irrespective the tenure of the Rental Agreement/Lease Deed/Leave & License Agreement/Contract.
