UPSC CAPF AC 2022 exam i got more marks still not recommended . My catagory was EWS but they converted me in general without my intimation.

What happens is when you get good marks that you can compete with the general people you are no longer in the EWS or any other reserved category as a result of which more people can come into the reversed category. Candidate's permission or intimation is not required. As for your joining you will have to see the marks of those who were given joining letter. If they secured lower marks than you and given joining letter and you were discriminated, you will have to approach the High Court on immediate basis.
