Summons Has Been Served With Complaint Copy By Email

We have filled Commercial suit at City Civil Court, and summons and complaint copy has been served to the defendant,
But he is not appearing in court so what to do?
due to covod pandemic courts are restricted to not to pass any adverse order in any reguler matter. but if defendant doesn't appears in court after summons you can ask your advocate to proceed with the matter and get an exparty order against defendant.
