someone used my phone number as reference to take loan

someone whome i know 3 to 4 years back used my phone number as reference to take lone or something. its been 3 to 4 years since i spoken to that person. now the police and advocate calling me about this and harassing me to pay the amount. please suggest me what should i do.
hi if the police are trying to harass you for repaying the loan then you could file petition in court seeking relief of not to harass you and tou meed to reply to the notice of contents sent by the advocate

no police and advocate will call u to pay the loan of your friend who had given reference , u r only reference person, u have not taken any loan on your name .....if u taken loan on ur name then u have to pay...u approach us we will help you
