Society forcing for uniform facade paint for grills

Dear Ma’am,
Our housing society has just finished the painting job from outside. Builder had provided us the flower bed with the black paint on the grills. During this repair work, society painted all these grills white(facade). But i wanted to retain black paint only for grills in my flat. Can society force me to paint it white for uniform facade ?Please advise
Yes, the society can legally require you to paint the grills white, if:
The grills are part of the external façade.
A resolution has been passed for uniform appearance.
Your deviation affects the external look or common aesthetics.

Well, if you would have signed or executed any Contract with the Builder, that, you would not change white facade of grills, then, you have to remain stick with that. After signing the Contract, you intend to change the white facade of grills to black, then, you can be sued by Builder, if you go for changing white to black facade of grills.
