Society charging me forcefully for car parking after selling my car i

I have sold my car in March 2018 to my neighbor in my same society but he has not yet transfer car registration in his own name but he has already informed society about buying above car from me but society forcefully charging me monthly parking charges to me instead of him because car is still in my name. Can housing society forcefully charge me like this?

Legally speaking the papers are still in your name so you can only request for sometime to complete the due formalities or mutually ask the friend of urs for his car now , to pay parking charges to you.

Firstly get the names transferred from the concerned RTO office and if you have not executed any written agreement between you and that purchaser then kindly first execute such document otherwise there are many legal consequences of not doing so. you can give that document to chairman of the society and request them to charge the purchaser for the parking charges.
