Security Cheque deposited by employee gets bounced

24-Nov-2023 (In Civil Law)
Respected All, In 2016 April I started working with X Call Centre, after six months i put resignation on oct 2016 so the director of company promise me increment and promotion and informed me to sign bond and took cheque as a security deposit. Then my employer started forcing me to work overtime and ask me to come office on weekends. They started mental harassment on me so i took treatment from civil hospital. Again I put resignation on Jan 2017. So employer deposited the cheque worth 1 lac and 40 thousands My employer filed sec 138 on me. I have proved that cheque was as a security deposit. On the cheque only signature is mine, the amount and dates where filled by the employer. Respected lawyers please suggest.

U say you have proved that the cheque was for security. How? Have u filed a case already? There some rules under src.138 and u have to fulfill al those requirements to get justice. For this you rrquire an advocate.
