Respondent is not appearing to court after filing appeal, what to do?

After appealing the court the respondent has not responded from Dec 2016 till today website showing "NO VAKALAT FOUND"still on " FOR ADMISSION "Listing date is 18-1-2017, WHAT CAN BE THE POSITION IN FUTURE

The procedure varies from court to court. It is always advisable to consult your advocate who have first hand information about your case. Confirm with your advocate or court staff that summons have been received by other party or not.

i believe you have filed an appeal before the High court and it is in admission stage, it all depends on the what kind of case you have filed and for e.g., if you have filed an appeal over civil suit, if the personal notice is not served, then substitute notice shall be ordered for serving the notice

what type of case is this on what base you filed an appeal and you need to disclose the matter properly you need to consult with an advocate personally as you said you filed appeal so better you ask you advocate for next step.
