Question regarding applying for divorce xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

29-Sep-2023 (In Civil Law)
I am a Hindu having 6 years old daughter. My mom stays with us to take care of my kid as I also go to office. My father is no more and I am the only kid to my parents. My husband has a friend who got married to a girl who left her husband and teenage kids. After attending their marriage,I have been a victim of his rubbish words. He says I have plans of leaving him and trying for second marriage. If he is going out of station, before leaving the house he tells me that I look so happy becoz he would be out-of-station.There is so much stress becoz of his behavior. He is very good in talking to people with a smiling face and tell others that I am an arrogant person. He had slapped me some times when there was argument. He has targeted to send my mom out of the house. He does all these without making others suspect him. Please advice how to get divorce from him.I want my kid and the house which we are living.he has to take care of my kid's education completely till college & her marriage as well.

Hi, Sorry to know about the state of affairs going through in your marriage life. Nevertheless try to resolve the matter with the support and help of your husband's parents and amicably. If you feel that the things have gone really worse and beyond your control and if you feel the harassment is exceeding its limits then you may file a suit for Divorce along with Maintenance of yourself and your kids wellbeing and welfare. Also suggest you to start recording all the movements and happenings in the house especially between you and your husband so that it will be helpful to prove your case in the court of law with proper evidence.

You have left out one vital information. Is that house owned by your husband? have you contributed for its purchase ? Are you thinking of leaving him due to his rubbish words and slapping you ? How much you earn from your job ?
