Possession and Ownership Flat in a joint business

My father came from Hyderabad to join his uncle's business in Mumbai back in 1988. His uncle opened his branch in Pune and my father was given in charge of it. So they allotted him a flat which was owned by another firm which is owned by my father's uncle. and now there a dispute b/w my father and his uncle and they are forcing him to vacate the said flat in Pune. My question is will my father get this flat under possession act?
Whether there is an agreement between your father and uncle for the said disputed flat?
For how much duration your father had possession of that property?

It appears that your father is holding the premises for business purpose which is owned by your fathers uncle. Since the premises is held by your father for business purpose with consent from his uncle, it would be difficult to establish ownership by Adverse Possession.
