Person signed on registration doc stating age below 17 now what to do
09-Jul-2023 (In Civil Law)
land purchased from a person who got the property from his ancestors, if he has a major son or daughter , than their (son or daughter )signature is required on the registration copy ?we have taken signature on agreement copy . if the person lied that his son age is 17 than what ?
If a person has got the property from his ancestors and it is the ancestral property, then the person who has his name on the property is the absolute owner of the property irrespective of the agreement or disagreement from his minor or major sons/daughters. Their signatures are not required for the agreement.
when the property is has been devolved to a person if he is a hindu then section 6 of the hindu succession act applies then you need to require the signature of the major son or permission of the court in order the sell the share of the minor son if he is parsi and muslim or christian then the other law applies
