Passport Issuance matter for myself

Hi! My mother's name is only Single name mentioned on Pan / Aadhaar / Passport but on my birth Certificate her name is mentioned with Surname. Will there be any issue if i go for Passport issuance! What mother name shall i mention on Passport form ; With or Without Surname !

There is generally no issue if your mother's name appears slightly differently (with or without surname) on different documents, as long as there is no contradiction or suspicion of identity fraud. For the passport form, it is advisable to enter your mother's name exactly as it appears in the supporting identity proof (Aadhaar/PAN). However, to avoid future complications, you may also consider getting a one and the same person affidavit made stating both versions refer to the same person. This can help during passport verification if the authorities raise any query.

mention the complete name alias the single name. Also get a notarized affidavit made showing that both the persons are one person. Also try to engage a lawyer to get the process done. This way your passport process will be easily walked through

As per my understanding they shall not be any problem at as a precautionary measure you can file an affidavit of undertaking regarding the discrepancy. to avoid any further problems of rejection of the application .

The same name shall be mentioned on the passport which is there on her pan card and Aadhar card, as these are the documents which holds validity while applying for the passport. For any further legal assistance please feel free to contact.
