It is advisable to receive the notice and formally appear before the court. The fact which needs to be confirmed is whether you are direct party to the case and if X person has any claim against you or your share of property.

If you or your property is directly involved then it’s advisable to receive the notice and appear before the court. Failing which judgement will be passed in your absence and if it’s against you then you need to challenge the entire case from beginning which involves lot of time, energy and money.
Always better to be safe than sorry in court cases.

Hi,
I have gon through the legal enquire put by you.

we shd never avoid the notice from court, if they are trying to serve the notice we shd accept it so that we can know the case details and plan for our defense or to take necessary steps.
avoiding nothing is not acceptable before the court, hence I advise to receive the notice if the notice is in your name.
if the notice is not received the court might take you had not appeared and will continue the case without your presence and taht we be even more difficult.
