OBC NON CREAMY LAYER status for serving or retired defence personnel

Sir, I am a serving OR in defence and due for retirement. Am I eligible for OBC NON CREAMY LAYER status? My only source of income is my salary which will be converted to pension in 2 months

The creamy layer status will come into play only when it is specifically taken into account for any appointment. After retirement, you can enjoy ex servicemen quota in several appointments. Therefore you need to check with specific scenario.
